I was the one who labeled this diagram in class so I am not quite sure if my labeling is exactly correct. The first diagram on top looks like some sort of a vault at a bank. At first glance I thought the figure in the upper middle part of the image was an image of a peep hole with an eye looking at me. After taking in the whole picture though I then figured out that it is actually a dial that rotates either clockwise or counterclockwise. The dial also has several numbers and lines on it that help indicate how far to turn the dial to put in the correct combination code. When you acquire the right combination code you are then allowed access into the vault. On the right side of the image there are three rectangular figures that are labeled as "Hinges". These three hinges help let you know that what you are looking at is a door and that it opens from left to right. The hinges being on the outside of the door also help you confirm that the door will open towards you and no away from you. The object in the middle left of the diagram represents a handle. The handle is used to open the vault door once the correct combination has been entered.
The second diagram is a telephone booth. On the top of the phone booth there is what looks to be an umbrella with electricity hovering around it. The labeled object on the left side of the diagram is a door that folds together when opened. Every telephone booth needs a phone book which is the item laying on top of the counter. To make a phone call you have to push square buttons with numbers on them that are the same as the telephone number you wish to dial. The most important part of a telephone booth is the telephone. Without the telephone you wouldn't be able to talk or hear the person on the other end of the line.
